About the Course

BFM is an undergraduate three-year course of the Department of Financial Markets, PTVA'S Sathaye college(Autonomous) Vileparle, Mumbai. The program spread across 6 semesters, aims to prepare students for careers requiring global business awareness and to develop skills required to work in internationally operating companies and organizations. It provides the students with many opportunities, both to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during the modules and to develop a more in-depth understanding of common problems emerging in an international business environment.

 

OBJECTIVES:

  1. The BFM program develops your understanding of organizations, their financial

structures along with wider considerations such as environments, finances and how all these work together to contribute to organizational success.

  1. To contribute to the enhancement and advancement of knowledge and practice of

financial markets in the industry and in the overall economy.

  1. To create an additional avenue of self-employment for the students and to provide suitable trained personnel for the Financial Services Sector.
  2. To prepare and train the graduates in such a manner so that they can compete in the

Markets

  1. To make them aware of the practical aspect of the theoretical concepts of the financial sector.
