About Department

The Department is functioning ever since the inception of the college in 1959.

The Department looks into the Team Selection, its preparation and its participation in the above as well as other sports organized by the University of Mumbai.

Those students who  have played for University of Mumbai or are among the top 3 at intercollegiate competitions are eligible for obtaining jobs under the sports quota

The Popular sports organized by the college at the sporting event called "UTSAV' every year at the Intra college event are as follows

The events are organized for Boys as well as girls.

The Department looks into the Team Selection Its preparation Its participation in the above as well as other sports organized by the Mumbai University.

As per the requirement of the University, the Department also helps the university from time to time in Organising the intercollegiate competitions of the sports like Kho Kho, Kabaddi, and Volley Ball.
