Hindi Department
Hindi Department was established along with the Foundation of the College. The department was popular because of Prof. Vasant Dev. Prof Vasant Dev was an all-rounder personality. He was a capable administrator and a famous poet also. The song from the film “Utsav” which people know even today-Bela kayun mahka re aadi raat ko was written by him. Prof . Radhe Mohan Sharma and Dr. Shivsanker Pandey took Hindi Department to its great heights.
At presently, department of Hindi is headed by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh. Recently he is awarded by D.Lit.Degree. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh has organised National seminars on subjects like Sant Sahitiya Aur Manav Mulya, Krishana Bhakati kavya dhara ke vivid Ayam, Suffi Sahitya ka Punermulyakan, Bhartiya Bhasao mei Ram Sahitya ki Pransangikata. The department has also organised international seminars on topics like Ram Kala sander. In Hindi Dept Assistant Prof Mahatma Pandey is also working.
The department of Hindi also provides M.A. in Hindi as well as Ph.D
