Dance Association of Degree College organized a folk dance competition on 10 th March 2022 in the ground floor auditorium of the college. The event was graced by the presence of Vice principals Smt. P. M. Sawant and Prof. Dr. D. M. Nerkar, Cultural Co-Ordinator Shri. Ketankumar Bhosale and Asst. Cultural Co-ordinator Shri. Sameer Jadhav, Dance Association (DC) In-charge Dr. Pratibha Kamble and Asst. In-charge Smt. VasantiT odakar and Smt. Sampada Chawan. The final participants of the dance competition were selected through the process of audition. The participation included solo dance, duet dance as well as group dances. There were 8 solo dances, 4 duet dances and 2 group dances. The folk dance competition was judged by
the folk dance experts Shri. Prashant Baflekar and Shri. Manvendra Bhat.

The following prizes were declared:

1 st Prize: Swati Joshi and Ritik Behera (Duet Dance)
2 nd Prize: Srushti Kangane (Solo Dance)
3 rd Prize: Pooja & Group (Group Dance)
Consolation Prize: Sneha Kadam (Solo Dance)
Consolation Prize: Shruti Panchal & Pournima Shikare (Duet Dance)
